Hello, my name is Angela and I am a sugar addict!
Well its Day 5 of my 8 Week Challenge and it going pretty good. By the end of Wednesday (Day 3) I had a killer headache. Normally I would cure this with my love of Diet Pepsi, but I forged on and didn’t give in. Even when I opened my fridge and it was practically begging me to drink it. “Drink Me, Drink Me” it said. Who knew a can of Diet Pepsi could be so full of peer pressure. Nasty bugger.
And my apologies to my husband and son….I was a wee bit moody.
I am still missing the sugar. I mean last night I was ready to break open our game of Candyland and eat the pieces and lick the board. I mean those gingerbread men where looking mighty delicious.
Oh and I’ve worked out the past 2 nights. I need to start eating glitter so at least my sweat looks pretty. (Note to self: find out if glitter is challenge friendly).
Let’s just say that I hate working out. I mean strapping the girls into a sports bra is usually a workout in itself. (Busty girls, you know what I’m taking about)
So at the start of Day 5, I will say this: I already notice a change in my body. I have already lost weight. Enough that I did a weird naked happy dance in the bathroom this morning. Glad the neighbours can’t see in, they’d think I was having some sort of seizure. And I am sleeping better.
